Jesse Smith’s is an established, family run business with 5 shops across the Cotswolds. Their new Farmshop in Cirencester is soon to be celebrating its first anniversary!

We are looking for an enthusiastic foodie to join our team at the Farmshop as a Coffee House Manager, where customer service is at the heart. 

The Role

  • Dealing with customers daily in a welcoming manner
  • Managing a team of 3 – 6 employees
  • Organising staff rotas
  • Managing holidays
  • Stock control
  • Training and development
  • Maintaining and increasing standards

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an individual to work closely with the Director in pushing the business forward by bringing new, innovate ideas to the table!

Minimum of 5 years of industry experience is required, as well as a strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure.

The Role

  • Menu design & product development
  • 30 + covers
  • In charge or both prep and service, morning and lunch
  • Saturday brunches & Sunday lunches
  • A La Carte steak nights
  • Stock control & costings
  • HACCAP management
  • Assisting with business growth

The Candidate

  • Previous industry experience is essential, ideally to a high standard (Rosette/Michelin)
  • Minimum level 3 Health & Hygiene certificate
  • Level 3 + NVQ Professional Cookery, or similar, would be desirable
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Thrive under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Ultimate foodie!
